LaMont Cain, a native of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, is one of Hollywood’s best and brightest new young motion picture producers. Before moving towards a career in film production he was a highly rated football player in the state of Florida, playing successfully as a quarterback for Ft. Lauderdale’s Dillard High School. He led his team to several State Championships, which made him one of the most sought after top prep quarterbacks in the nation amongst the likes of quarterbacks like Tommy Frazier, Payton Manning. He later accepted a scholarship to play football for the 5x National Champions, the University of Miami Hurricanes, playing with the likes of Warren Sapp, Ray Lewis and fellow industry mate Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, where he also studied motion picture, theatre, sociology and business. 

After leaving the University of Miami, he entered NFL camps for many teams but after playing the NFL shuffle for a couple of seasons his desire to make feature films was much stronger than his desire to play football. After making the decision to leave professional football, Mr. Cain began working as a sports recruiter for Impact Sports, a reputable sports agency, owned by sports agent and fellow actor Duane Martin. This job allowed him to travel to many parts of the country, including Los Angeles.  A short time later, Mr. Cain followed his true passion…filmmaking.

In (1999) he began his career in the entertainment industry as an actor, and after working on several films he developed strong relationships with actors, producers, directors and other filmmakers in Miami and Los Angeles.   It was through these contacts and the networking process that he discovered his gift for shuffling people together and producing films.  After moving to Los Angeles, Mr. Cain quickly found his way around the LA scene, and soon formed deeper relationships and connections to stars such as Duane Martin, Tisha Campbell-Martin, Will Smith, Hillary Duff, Academy-Award Winner Jamie Foxx, Gabrielle Union, Shaquille O’Neal, director Brett Ratner, and former teammate Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

During his first year in Los Angeles, Mr. Cain joined Oprah Winfrey’s Oxygen Network and held a position as talent coordinator for a popular talk show, and was quickly promoted to the position of Associate Producer at Warner Brothers for the television show “Moral Court “(2002). It was during this time that he constructed, and was Executive Producer of the film, “All About the Benjamins” (2002), starring Mike Epps and Ice Cube. Upon the completion of this film Mr. Cain decided it was time to follow his dream so he established his film production company World Premiere Pictures, Inc. and obtained a two picture/first look deal. Bitten by the Hollywood bug which set off a series of events these days Mr. Cain has been studying film “the industry game film” and is carefully crafting his takeover of Hollywood with his new independent/studio film and television production company Hierarchy Pictures. Hierarchy is a strong up and coming mini-major studio comparable to Legendary Pictures, Dreamworks and Imagine.

Through Mr. Cain’s careful strategic planning and reputation, this company has already established itself with industry insiders as one to watch and now, after forming “Hierarchy Motion Pictures Group” the parent to the many subsidiary companies under the Hierarchy banner and serving as Chairman and CEO, Mr. Cain, is set to assume the throne and reign supreme and leave his mark on this industry.

Harvest Smith, former Vice President of Affiliate Field Sales, Western Region for NBC Universal Cable based in Burbank, California. His responsibilities included increasing the network carriage for (NBCU) Cable’s family of networks: (MSNBC, CNBC, CNBC World, NBC Weather Plus, ShopNBC, Telemundo Puerto Rico, Bravo, Oxygen, Telemundo, mun2, USA, SCI FI, Sleuth, Chiller, Universal HD) and the Olympics on cable across fifteen states, including Canada. Smith reported to Mary Murano, Executive Vice President, Affiliate Field Sales for NBC Universal TV Networks Distribution.

Prior to serving as Vice President, Smith was Regional Director of Affiliate Relations for the Western Region for Universal before the merger in 2004.

Smith began working with Universal in 1998 as a Regional Manager of Affiliate Relations in California where he increased local ad insertion and successfully increased network carriage across all networks by a combined 2,000,000 subscribers.

In 1996, Smith was the Affiliate Marketing and Sales Manager for BET Networks in Los Angeles, California where he was responsible for increasing BET’s carriage through creative marketing and sales programs. Smith also was the Marketing and Promotional Director for the Basketball Division for (ASICS TIGER) Corporation in Fountain Valley, California.

Smith graduated from The University of North Carolina Charlotte with a major in Psychology. He is a Graduate from The Anderson School of Business at UCLA. Smith is currently involved in the GE African American Forum, LA HUB President. He is currently an active board member of both the 2008 (CCTA) and (CTAM) West and is the 2009 incoming Vice President of CTAM West. He is also an active member of (NAMIC) (National Association of Multi-Ethnicities in Communications) where he was the former Vice President of the Los Angeles Chapter and he is part of the (NAMIC),(ELDP)(Executive Leadership Development Program). He is a United Friends of the Children Volunteer.

Harvest was previously the Vice President and Global Sales Officer (GSO) of Hierarchy Pictures but has been recently promoted and now serves as the President and Global Sales Officer (GSO) of “Hierarchy Motion Pictures Group” and will now oversee all of Hierarchy’s subsidiary companies including Hierarchy Pictures Proper, Hierarchy Television and it’s tech business.

Danny Parker has 30 years of corporate legal, financial and strategic planning experience in various industries. After practicing corporate law in Silicon Valley, he served as Assistant Treasurer and Strategic Planning Manager for a Fortune 500 construction materials firm where he secured credit facilities, acquired real property assets and materials firms; and analyzed operations that led to over $1 million in savings. After co-founding an Internet production firm that provided services for entertainment firms like Warner Brothers and Polygram Records, he provided strategic consulting services to and wrote business plans for various high tech start ups and music firms. For professional athletes, he structured and negotiated business deals with entities such as Phillips Services Corporation, HUD and Strategic Energy. After serving as CFO for a software development firm, he served as CFO and General Counsel for Swipe, an ATM management firm. He currently serves as Chief Administrative Officer for Vendture LLC, a company that makes hot food vending machines that heat and vend pre-packaged items. Danny is a member of the California Bar and has an Industrial Engineering, MBA and law degree from Stanford. He has headed and served on numerous Stanford boards and clubs.

Allen Bates III, MBA, a graduate of Pepperdine University, is an innovative, multifaceted and highly engaged Business Development and FP&A executive with over two decades of experience in strategic planning, M&A due diligence, revenue modeling and market research within the Entertainment, Interactive Media, Technology and Consumer Product industries.

He’s developed and implemented product sales revenue forecasting and business planning processes utilizing top CRM and ERP systems for some of today’s largest Interactive, Advertising, Digital Media and Entertainment companies including; Saatchi & Saatchi N.A. during its launch of the Lexus GS, RX, LX and SC models, Universal Studios Creative during its development, construction and grand opening of Universal Studios Japan, and IAC/InterActiveCorp, during its launch of on-line leaders, Ticketmaster.com, Evite.com and Expedia.com, to accurately track cash flow and product sales performance. He’s prepared and reviewed company-wide budgets, developed and maintained marketing trend models, sales and financial trend analysis and prepared variance-to-budget analysis, pricing models, financial bench marking, and break-even analysis allowing companies to reach or exceed the desired level of profitability.

Mr. Bates III, who co-founded and sits on the Board of Pepperdine University’s Entertainment Industry Alumni Association, is seasoned in providing in-depth market and product analysis to cultivate and move high-value opportunities through the pipeline while utilizing his transferable FP&A skill set to consistently improve the bottom line performances of organizations and brings these talents to Hierarchy Pictures, Inc.

Christopher Stefan, Head of Business Affairs and General Counsel for Hierarchy Pictures Inc., joined the team in 2013.

A graduate of the University of California Davis, Mr. Stefan spent several years working in the niche market of casino gaming in California, rising his way up from a customer service position to asset protection and eventually, public relations. That experience sparked an interest in law, and Mr. Stefan graduated from American University’s Washington College of Law in December 2007, one of the top law schools in the world for international law. Mr. Stefan also worked for the law school during and for a time after, developing and later maintaining relationships with legal practitioners and business managers from all over the world in the process. Mr. Stefan was a practicing litigator for five years, while simultaneously participating and running a start-up company.

Despite developing an extensive and thriving private practice with a stellar reputation in the Los Angeles area, Mr. Stefan sought out a position where he could participate in the transaction process itself and attempt to eliminate the chances of litigation occurring. In addition, Mr. Stefan sought out a position where his prior business acumen and knowledge would be a greater asset.

With a passion for constructive deal-making and conflict resolution, Mr. Stefan considers his role at Hierarchy to be an executive who just happens to also be an attorney, and not the other way around.

Steve has always loved a good story. How apropos that his first job in Los Angeles was as a Tour Guide at Universal Studios, Hollywood. There, he was able to share his love of the silver screen with tourists from all over the world while seeing first hand how great ideas and stories were transformed into television shows and movies. While in pursuit of an acting career that saw Steve perform more than 40 plays in less than a decade, his true love for writing and story telling eventually took over…for performing a great role is one thing, but creating that great role is even more rewarding.

Steve received a Master’s degree in Writing (with an undergrad in Classical Literature) and worked as a literary agent for Jerome Seigel Associates in downtown Hollywood (DTLA). Developing story with his writers and finding studios worthy of their material truly became a driving passion. While continuing as an agent, he branched out to produce and star in the indie film, SOCIAL INTERCOURSE, for Hollywood Video’s First Rites Program and went to write and produce his own indie film DETOUR for under $100K. The “old-school” horror film continues to be seen worldwide and has won awards at numerous film festivals over the years. Steve’s love and talent for film and writing was unmistakable.

Steve was an invited guest speaker for the SAG Indie mentorship program at the Cannes Film Festival for a half decade and from 2002-2004, he taught writing for the Colombia College annex program in LA, shaping writers for a career in the entertainment field, all while creating his own material as a freelance screenwriter.

In 2004, he joined IMG as their Head of Development based at Universal Studios, his old stomping ground, where he set up the slate and developed projects for the company across all fields. IMG produced THE GRAND with Zak Penn and ROOM 237 amongst others while Steve worked tirelessly to create an impressive slate of movies and TV shows.

Steve left the company in 2008 to focus on his own writing projects full time, and has assembled an amazingly diverse library of scripts and television shows that cover a broad spectrum of genres from horror to comedy to environmental themed dramas to a massive biography of General Norman Schwartzkopf as well as adapting teen novels for film and TV. He oversees the slate at Hierarchy, stepping in when needed to mentor, guide and write on any project when needed while always pursuing his own, freelance career. Returning to his “tour guide” roots, Steve has most recently been cast as the host of a historical travel show where he does his own research, development and writing where, as always, creating a fascinating and interesting tale is always the driving force…

Steve remains amazed by our diverse and ever-changing planet and has the rare talent of being able to turn anything into a story… that’s why Hierarchy Pictures has appointed Mr. Grabowsky Head of Development in the Executive role VP of Creative Affairs.

Charles W. Davidson II , a Honors Graduate with a Bachelors of Arts degree from the famed Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA , decided to stray from the corporate path early on and set a detailed plan in motion to enter a field he was truly passionate about; Entertainment. By early 2005 Charles had done the research, taken numerous classes, and saved money to make the move to the epicenter of the Entertainment World, Los Angeles California. After earning various television and film credits, the completion of his very first feature length screenplay proved to be the tremendous learning experience that would set him on the path to his true passion. Since that time, the entertainment industry has become his world. Charles has completed seven feature length screenplays, written and produced a television pilot, and Co-authored, Co-Produced, & Directed a number of short films. After establishing himself in the fields of writing, producing and directing, Charles joins the team at Hierarchy Pictures, Inc., as Creative Executive/Writer where he will play a critical role in the development, writing and producing many of Hierarchy Pictures, Inc.’s film and television projects.

As an international business executive, Ms. Tao has studied, worked and traveled to more than 120 cities in around 20 countries. She received her Master Degrees in Strategic Project Management with Distinction from the UK, Italy and Sweden. She did her undergraduate in China and Hong Kong and got her bachelor degrees in International Economics & Art from the prestigious Jilin University in Changchun, Jilin. She is bilingual in English and Chinese.

Ms. Tao has worked for several institutions and corporations in the Communication, Public Relations, Business Development, Global Trading and Marketing sector. She hosted several live programs for China Radio International before she came to the United States in 2011. Her work in business had her negotiating trade deals with some of the biggest corporations between USA, Canada, Europe, China, South East Asia, Central and South America.

Tao’s relationship with major institutions and global financiers provide Hierarchy Pictures with access to an international array of investors and corporate partnerships, which will allow Hierarchy Pictures to extend its brand globally. Tao will oversee all investor relationships, China-U.S./Co-productions and new business throughout China and South East Asia for Hierarchy Pictures and it’s subsidiary Hierarchy East.

Ms. Jian was born and raised in Taiwan, attended (National Overseas Chinese Senior High School) and did her undergraduate studies in Taiwan and in the U.S. with a degree in film from the New York Film Academy, Los Angeles. She speaks fluent English, Chinese and Taiwanese.

Ms. Jian has a vast array of skill sets as she’s worked for several institutions and corporations as a Project Manager, Event Planner, Clothing Designer, Advertiser, Magazine Editor, Purchasing Agent, Real Estate Agent and Image Consultant.

She worked as personal image consultant for different company chairmen and chairwomen throughout Asia. Jun’s creative background and her relationship with talent and financiers provide Hierarchy Pictures with access to an international array of investors and corporate partnerships, which will allow Hierarchy Pictures to extend its brand globally. Jian will oversee creative development for Film and TV projects, investor relationships, China-U.S./Co-productions and new business throughout China and South East Asia for Hierarchy Pictures and it’s subsidiary Hierarchy East alongside Ms. Tao.

Aram was born and raised in New York, living in the Catskills mountains one mile from the site of the 1969 Woodstock Concert (now the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts). He played three sports in high school, but found his passion in the written arts. He started writing for the school newspaper and literary magazine until he read Tennessee Williams and instantly fell in love with the art of stage and film.

He enrolled in Niagara University in 1996, but transferred after a year to be closer to his family. In 2005, after a stint at Northern Arizona University, he graduated from the University of Arizona with BA in History/Political Science. He started teaching and immediately began his Master’s Degree at Northern Arizona University, completing it in just four terms while working full time in a classroom.

After watching the movie Sicko, he felt if people younger than him could live and work overseas, why can’t he do it? So, in 2008, Aram went to Korea. He instantly fell in love with Korean food, culture and the life in Seoul, especially the night life in Hongdae and the foreigner section of Itaewon. A year later, he was in Shijiazhuang, in Hebei in China where he lived until 2011 when he moved to Nanjing.

While there, Aram began researching the Rape of Nanking, decided when he started his PhD, it would be his dissertation and began writing a piece based on the 1946 trial of the Japanese soldiers that led the Nanjing Massacre. This was inspired by his work at the Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall and after reading Iris Chang’s “The Rape of Nanking,” in which he discovered there has never been a major American Motion Picture about this event. Aram sought to change this.

Since 2008, Aram has lived in Asia (Korea, China and Malaysia). He speaks near fluent Mandarin, married a Chinese national from Danyang and bought a house in Wuxi, a third tier Chinese city between Nanjing and Shanghai. Based out of Jiangsu and Kuala Lumpur, Aram has the unique perspective of living within the Asian market in order to get a feel of what the market holds.

He has written fifteen full length screenplays, two TV pilots and four short scripts, all while tailoring his work for both the Asian and Western markets.

Mr. Katz joins the Hierarchy family as a Creative Writer for HP’s subsidiary division Hierarchy East.

A native of Dayton, Ohio, currently resides in Atlanta / Savannah, Georgia. After receiving a four-year scholarship for singing to the internationally renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass, Trammel, an Honored alumnus, received his B.A. Degree in Music Business & Management.

Since his time at Berklee, Trammel has been a frequent lecturer and speaker at various colleges and music conferences nationally.

Known to his many colleagues as a Social Entrepreneur and entertainment Consultant, Trammel’s experience spans several areas within the world of Music and Entertainment including; music distribution, music publishing, artist and product development, artist relations, label development, sales and brand marketing of entertainment products, Community Non-Profit and Corporate program event marketing, concert promotions, advertising and media relations coordination.

Trammel has held national executive managerial and product-branding marketing, radio promotions, advertising, new media and artist development positions for more than 20 years developing leading entertainment products and artists. He’s worked for three of the world’s four global music leader’s parent- music distribution companies: (UMG- PGD), (Sony-BMG) and EMI within the United States. He’s successfully managed the leading recording labels music and movie products for: Laface, Arista, RCA, Virgin, Bad Boy, V2, Jive/Zomba, Verity, Capitol, Priority, Motown, A&M, Perspective, Mercury, Loud, EMI, EMI Gospel and Rowdy within the Northeast, Midwest and Southeastern regions of the USA.

Many of today’s most popular artists were each under Trammel’s portfolio including; Toni Braxton, Usher, P. Diddy, Whitney Houston, Outkast, SWV, N’Sync, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Dave Mathews Band, Coldplay, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, The Notorious Big, 2 Pac, Aaliyah, TLC, A Tribe Called Quest, TD Jakes, Fred Hammond, Lenny Kravitz, Cee-Lo, Tony Rich Project, 112, Monica, Kenny G, and R-Kelly among others.

Jakes, CeCe Winans, Beverly Crawford, Virtue, John P Kee, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Michael W. Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman, Jaci Velasquez, Helen Baylor, Hezekiah Walker, Donnie McClurkin and Daryl Coley to name a few.

Trammel has also played an instrumental role on several movie soundtrack products including those for the films; Waiting to Exhale, Soul Food, Fled, The Wood, The Preachers Wife, along with Nickelodeon Cable Networks “All That” and the musical “Bring in ‘da Noise Bring in ‘da Funk.

Waukesha Bell is an award winning Writer, Director and Producer from Mississippi. Desiring a creative career in film she moved to Los Angeles and studied Directing at Chapman University. She spent years working in television and film honing her skillset. Gaining a true understanding for the business and creative, Waukesha has worked on both block buster and independent films. Now producing and directing on an independent level, Waukesha’s developed a true passion for creating films that not only inspire but push the envelope and challenge the norm. Some of her films include, “To Have & To Hold”, “Conflicted”, “LAMIA- Midnight’s Addiction”, “Love of Mass Destruction” and “Un Speakable Indiscretions”. She also produced 8 webisodes of the immensely popular and award winning sports drama, “Diary of a Champion”. Her faith-based drama, “Conflicted” which won the 2015 NAFCA award for Best Foreign Film marked her first Producing recognition on a large scale. Her favorite quote/saying is: “Filmmaking is an art form. Art is powerful and influential. Let your experiences be your inspiration and your film become your voice.” Ms. Bell joins Hierarchy as a “jack of all trades” master of the VP of Production post to oversee the productions of Hierarchy Motion Pictures Group and its subsidiary companies.

James is a producer, director and writer from Los Angeles. He attended film school at the American University in Washington D.C. and started out as a martial arts choreographer/trainer working in films such as Blood: The Last Vampire training Gianna Jun, and Transporter 3 with Jason Statham for their action sequences. He also worked for Luc Besson’s EuropaCorp, USA on the feature development team in Beverly Hills, CA. Storytelling & filmmaking has always been his passion. His works include various music videos, commercials, films and shorts including Con Man with James Caan & Mark Hamill.
